‘Toads During Lockdown’ Highly Commended in Shepton Mallet

In February my poem ‘Toads During Lockdown’ was Highly Commended in the Shepton Mallet Snowdrops Festival International Poetry Competition, whose given theme was “hope in nature” and where the judge was Mama Amazonica poet Pascale Petit.

It was lovely to be able to visit Somerset in person to give a reading alongside other finalists, where the children’s poems were especially fantastic.
